Gametut is a video game trading website that allows members to trade their old video games and DVD’s for Tut Dollars. Tut Dollars are a virtual currency that members can use to purchase any Video Game or Movie currently listed on Gametut.com. Unlike competing trading sites, Gametut does not charge the user real money every time a trade is made. Instead we created a system we call “Equity Deduction”. In the context of trading video games this means we deduct a portion of value from the listed game price on our site. For example, lets say you just listed a game for trade on Gametut that is valued at $60 Tut Dollars. Once you have successfully traded that game to another user, you will be credited $59 of our virtual currency. The gametut member requesting your game will also need at least one virtual Tut dollar in their account to commence a trade. This $1 virtual charge is considered our service fee for processing the trade.
